Drawings
Which ones are Margot's?
These 3 drawings were done one after the other. The one on the far left was the first, then the middle one, and finally the one on the right. It is so interesting to see how the details developed.

Fall Colours
We went to Mont Sainte-Marie ski resort for the Festival of Fall Colours:
We went up the chairlift:
Enjoyed the view at the top:
and walked down a slope/hill:
Apparently, the best colours were a week ago (before we got rain and wind), but we were still able to enjoy the colours and the trees:

Running Like A Child
There is such freedom and spontaneity in a child's run.
The action comes from the heart, not the head.
Running makes for blurry and imperfect pictures, which capture the true essence of childhood.

Montessori - part 1
Since starting preschool, I have noticed the following behaviour in Margot:
-no more "accidents" at home.
-generally in a fabulous mood.
-likes to roll up little blankets.
-wants to help out more.
-washes her hands frequently.
-often counts (not always in order).
-much more concentrated on a task.
-sometimes mentions that her name is "Margot avec un "T"" [Margot with a "T"]. (That's because there's another Margot in her class, without a T. I know! What are the odds?]
-sings a lot.
-likes to "write".
-loves using scissors and tape.
